Laura Givens: Book & Magazine Covers
You can't judge a book by its cover but what's on that cover can often be the difference between whether it get's picked up to be read or not. I have been fortunate enough to do covers for a diverse selection of books from a number of publishers. The challenge is always to figure out what will appeal to a distinct audience whether that audience be romance, horror, science fiction, poetry, non-fiction, young adult or travel. This is a selection of some of my favorites including a series of covers for Tales of the Talisman magazine, where I am also art director.
